NTSC-U Dreamcast
I don’t know why I love this console so much… maybe it’s the fact that’s it marks the end of the arcade game as I knew it as a child.
Well, I’ve just bought an NTSC-U boxed Dreamcast on eBay. I don’t know why as the two PAL Dreamcasts I’ve got will play all the games I’ve own.
Maybe there’s something about having that red swirl?
Next up the NTSC-J console…
Dreamcast Arcade Stick
Just had delivery of a Dreamcast Arcade Stick.
No box, but in good condition. I’m thinking of building a vertical shumup desktop cab - a larger version of a Vectrex I suppose.
I’d like a 2 player cab with inbuilt Dreamcast and maybe PC for old skool arcade shoot ‘em ups. I’ve got the PC components but maybe I’m better off waiting to put them in the cocktail cab I’m hoping to build.
The stick is in good condition. Could do with a Sanwa stick and buttons, but is by far the best original manufacturer stick I’ve tried.
